Author Guidelines
Scientific Writing
Submissions must meet all scientific writing requirements as summarized in previous publications https://journal.lembagakita.org/ijsecs/issue/view/109.
Key Points
- Articles will be accepted only in English.
- Page numbers are limited (see APC below)
- Use APA citation style (Citation Reference).
- Articles may be rejected if the Author Guidelines are not respected.

- An article can have 1 corresponding author (primary contact) who
- handles all editorial communication
- will receive the invoice
- will receive the page proof and will be responsible for its approval
- is responsible for correct metadata in the system
- Use your institutional email address in the journal metadata and the article itself and check spam on a regular basis
What should you submit?
Submitted contributions undergo a double-blind review. In order to make this possible, please:
- Submit an anonymized file without the authors' names.
- Once your paper is accepted, please upload a final DOC, DOCX or RTF version with the authors' names in it. Please do not forget to add the authors directly below the paper title and in the CV section at the end of the paper.
Procedure
- Article submission
- Decision about acceptance for review (around 2 weeks)
- Peer Review (around 6 weeks)
- If accepted, invoice is sent to corresponding author, upload of final version will be required
- When payment AND final version have been received, the paper will be scheduled – provisionally – for an issue
- Later: the page proof is announced
- The page proof will be sent (make sure you reply)
- Your paper will be published
All correspondence will be done with the corresponding author. She/he should use an institutional email address that works and check spam on a regular basis. The email address must be the same in the paper and in the article metadata in the journal.
Article Processing Charges (APC)
45.00 (USD) / 700.000 (IDR). This journal provides authors with the option to publish their research via subscription (without an Article Publishing Charge) or through open access. For open access publication, authors are required to cover a publication fee (APC), either personally or through funding from a research body.

All submissions must meet the following requirements.
- The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
- The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
- Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
- The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
- The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
- If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.
Computing and Information Technology
This section accepts original research, reviews, and technical reports in the fields of computing, information systems, and information technology. Topics include software development, IT management, digital transformation, and emerging technologies. All submissions will be peer-reviewed.
System Methodologies and Models
This section welcomes manuscripts focused on system methodologies, modeling, and analysis in software engineering and computer science. Areas of interest include system design, modeling languages, simulation, and process improvement. All articles will undergo peer review.
Intelligent Systems and Control
This section covers research and reviews on intelligent systems, artificial intelligence, machine learning, robotics, and control systems. Submissions may address theory, applications, and innovations in intelligent automation and control. All submissions are peer-reviewed.
Networking and Security
This section publishes articles on computer networks, network protocols, cybersecurity, information assurance, and related topics. Contributions may include case studies, technical reports, and research articles. All submissions will be peer-reviewed.
Workflow Automation & Productivity Tools
This section welcomes original research articles, reviews, case studies, and technical reports focusing on workflow automation platforms and productivity tools such as n8n, ClickUp, Zapier, Make, and similar applications. Manuscripts should address topics including, but not limited to, implementation strategies, integration with existing systems, comparative analyses, practical experiences, technical challenges, and innovative uses in various domains. Submissions will undergo peer review and accepted papers in this section are exempt from publication fees.
